Certificate verification
Confirm that an ISO certificate is genuine, current and issued within a valid scope. Enter the certificate number printed on the document — no account or payment required.
Enter the certificate number exactly as printed on the certificate. Verification is free, instant and does not require an account.
How verification works
Find the number
It is printed in the header of the certificate, usually in the format NB-ISO9001-2026-0001. Dashes matter.
Search the register
The result is generated live from our register, so a suspended, withdrawn or expired certificate cannot show as valid.
Check the details
Compare the client name, standard, scope and expiry date with the certificate you were given. Report any mismatch to us.
What the result means
Valid
The certificate is current and the scope shown is the scope certified. Confirm the client name matches the organisation you are dealing with.
Expiring soon
Still valid, but the expiry date is within 60 days. Ask the holder for evidence that recertification is booked.
Expired
The certificate has passed its expiry date and must not be presented as current. A new decision is required before it can be reinstated.
Suspended or withdrawn
The certification is not valid. This can follow a failed surveillance audit, a scope change or a contractual issue. Contact us for the reason in writing.
If something does not match
Certificate numbers are sometimes copied onto forged documents. If a supplier presents a certificate whose details do not match this register, do not rely on it. Send us a copy of the document and the certificate number, and we will confirm in writing whether it was issued by us.
Report a suspected misuse of a certificate
Only certificates recorded in this register are valid. Client addresses and contact details are not published. Verification pages are excluded from search engines to protect client privacy.
