Terms of Service

The terms that apply to this website and to any certification coordination engagement.

These terms govern your use of this website and any certification coordination services provided by Northbridge Accreditation Services. Last updated 31 October 2026.

1. Who we are and what we provide

Northbridge Accreditation Services (“Northbridge”, “we”) is a certification coordination company registered at 1201 Fannin Street, Suite 262, Houston, TX 77002, USA. We prepare organizations for ISO management system assessment, coordinate the audit programme, and maintain a public certificate register.

We are not a certification body. Certification decisions and certificates are issued by an authorized certification body engaged for your assessment. We do not guarantee that a certification body will grant certification, and no statement on this website should be read as a promise of a certification outcome.

2. Website content

Content on this site is provided for general information. Standard requirements are set by the International Organization for Standardization and by the certification body’s accreditation rules; where this site summarizes a standard, the published standard prevails. Prices shown are indicative starting figures and are not offers capable of acceptance.

3. Engagements and quotations

An engagement begins only when a written quotation has been accepted and, where applicable, a deposit received. Each quotation states the standard, sites, headcount, audit days, deliverables, exclusions, fees and payment schedule. Certification body fees, travel and statutory testing are itemized separately.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your organization, sites, processes and headcount.
  • Nominate a management representative with authority to make decisions.
  • Give auditors and our team access to sites, personnel and records within the agreed scope.
  • Complete corrective actions by the agreed dates.
  • Do not misrepresent the status, scope or accreditation of any certificate.

Delays caused by unavailable personnel, incomplete records or deferred corrective actions may require audits to be rescheduled, and the certification body may charge for the change.

5. Fees and payment

Coordination fees are invoiced as set out in the quotation. Certification body fees are payable under that body’s terms. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. Late payment may suspend work and, where the certification body permits, the audit booking. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Certificate register

The register is updated from decisions recorded by the certification body. Verification results reflect the position at the time of the query and are not a substitute for the certificate document itself. We may correct, suspend or remove a register entry if the certification body records a change of status. Verification pages are provided for legitimate verification purposes; systematic scraping is not permitted.

7. Intellectual property

Text, layout, graphics and code on this site belong to Northbridge or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for internal reference. You may not republish substantial content, remove attribution, or use our name and marks in a way that suggests endorsement without written permission. ISO standard text is copyright of the International Organization for Standardization and is not reproduced here.

8. Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential and share it only with the certification body involved in your assessment, our service providers, or where required by law. Certification bodies are themselves bound by confidentiality requirements in the standards they audit against.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the coordination fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from a certification body’s decision, a regulator’s action, or your failure to maintain the management system after certification. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days’ written notice. Fees for work completed and certification body commitments already made remain payable. Termination does not affect a certification body’s right to charge for booked audit days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and the courts of Harris County have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have where you live.
